Iron Heart

Pendant trop longtemps, les Automae ont régné sur le royaume de Rabu, opprimant ses citoyens humains. Mais la révolution humaine s’est levée, et en son cœur se trouve Ayla. Autrefois servante, aujourd’hui fugitive, Ayla a échappé de justesse au palais de Lady Crier, la fille qu’elle aurait tuée si elle n’était pas d’abord tombée amoureuse.

Aujourd’hui, Ayla a prêté allégeance à la reine Junn, qui peut l’aider à atteindre le but ultime de la rébellion humaine : détruire le Cœur de Fer. Sans son pouvoir, les Automae seront affaiblis au point de disparaître. Ayla veut réussir, mais ne peut se défaire des sentiments forts qu’elle a développés pour Crier. Et à son insu, Crier a lui aussi fui le palais pour se joindre aux rebelles itinérants, déterminé à retrouver et à protéger Ayla.

Alors que leurs chemins se croisent, rien ne peut les préparer au sombre secret qui sous-tend le Cœur de Fer.

For too long, Automae have lorded over the kingdom of Rabu, oppressing its human citizens. But the human revolution has risen, and at its heart is Ayla. Once a handmaiden, now a fugitive, Ayla narrowly escaped the palace of Lady Crier, the girl she would’ve killed if she hadn’t fallen in love first.

Now Ayla has pledged her allegiance to Queen Junn, who can help accomplish the human rebellion’s ultimate goal: destroy the Iron Heart. Without its power, the Automae will be weakened to the point of extinction. Ayla wants to succeed, but can’t shake the strong feelings she’s developed for Crier. And unbeknownst to her, Crier has also fled the palace, taking up among traveling rebels, determined to find and protect Ayla.

Even as their paths collide, nothing can prepare them for the dark secret underlying the Iron Heart.
