Derniers jours d’un monde oublié

Plus de trois siècles après la Grande Nuit, Sheltel, l’île du centre du monde, se croit seule rescapée de la catastrophe. Mais un jour, la Main, sorcière chargée de donner la vie et de la reprendre, aperçoit un navire à l’horizon. Il est commandé par une pirate impitoyable, bien surprise de trouver une île au milieu du Désert Mouillé.

Si la Main voit en ces étrangers une menace pour ses secrets, Arthur Pozar, commerçant sans scrupules, considère les intrus comme des clients potentiels, susceptibles d’augmenter encore, si possible, son immense fortune. C’est une nouvelle ère qui s’ouvre. Qu’elle les mène à la gloire ou à la ruine, la sorcière, la pirate et le vieux marchand en seront les instigateurs, bien malgré eux.

More than three centuries after the Great Night, Sheltel, the island at the center of the world, believes itself to be the only survivor of the catastrophe. But one day, the Hand, the witch charged with giving life and taking it back, spots a ship on the horizon. It’s commanded by a ruthless pirate, and she’s surprised to find an island in the middle of the Wet Desert. While the Hand sees these strangers as a threat to its secrets, Arthur Pozar, an unscrupulous merchant, sees the intruders as potential customers who could, if possible, further increase his immense fortune. A new era is dawning. Whether it leads to glory or ruin, the witch, the pirate and the old merchant will be the instigators, in spite of themselves.
